Facelift

No, not me. But do you remember this chair that I got from a garage sale? Old and tired no more.
Before
After

I did a light sanding, and give it a spray paint. I might have needed another coat, but it ran out. No biggy, it gives it more shabby chic look . I also reupholster the seat. May be it'll give me a motivation to sew.

Flea-o-logy, You're Heavenly

It's Flea Market season, and I wasn't gonna miss this one.

I had a perfect Saturday, not weather wise. It was sunny, but a bit windy, and that Utah wind is too chilly for us, Californians. I woke up early to make sure everyone ate breakfast (especially the twins) before heading to my son's baseball game. Mr. SP when to work early, and met us at the field since he is the coach. They win the baseball game by a lot, and we headed straight to Payson for Fleaology first outdoor flea. When we got there, I suggested that everyone stayed in the car, there was not enough space to lug the double stroller. Thank goodness for the DVD player, I was able to browse all the vintage goodness with no interruption.
These are the vintage goodies I got to bring home. Love this vintage toolbox $5. It'll house my new orbital palm sander and other tools. And those necklaces are a buck each.

I have my eye set on this one of a kind craft table @ vickie's booth. But, I couldn't bring it home since the van is full of kiddos and Mr. SP always asks, "Where are we gonna put it?" He is right; I can't justify it. Vickie has awesome stuff. That's where I got my toolbox as well.

Bijou Market

Yes, I went solo.
I was loving everything and inspired by the artists.

I got a couple of cute bows from this booth.

A pair earrings from here

And this collection makes me think of my friend, Leah. She loves milk glass stuff.

Dear Lizzy with Emily

My friend, Emily and I decided to check out Starmill (American Fork, UT) a vintage shoppe, last Saturday, but they're closed for the winter. Bummer!!! Then, she took me to check out her favorite boutique, Dear Lizzy (Highland, UT).

They have the cutest stuff, very romantic, shabby chic with a touch of whimsy. The only catch is they're quite pricey. I heard they ship some of their items from Europe. I noticed a lot of handmade goodies, which are too die for, and one of a kind.

I'm pointing to these bows because my friends, Jessica and Leah taught me how to make them for next to nothing.

Em sporting a very cute diaper bag!!!

Don't you just love the tutu behind me?

For someone like me who loves bargains, it's definitely a place to get design ideas and inspirations.

Em scouring shabby chic frames, I think. It was a fun day!!! Thanks Em.
